Through tragedy and grief emerges a gathering of people even with their differences who’ve united together for various reasons. We come together not only in the medical sense to heal but to uplift one another, to tend to needs beyond ourselves,to listen, to give sustenance, or to just hold and comfort when words fail us.
49 people this past weekend died and another 53 who were wounded, some are still recuperating in various local hospitals from their wounds, at least 5 still critical, because a lone gunman who pledged allegiance to ISIS walked into Pulse Nightclub, a gay nightclub in Orlando, hell bent on killing gays until the Swat team literally broke down walls and killed him.
Orlando is now known for more than WDW, we’re now on the map as a target of a terrorist. If you’re looking for more info on this lesser person you’ll have to look him up because we’re not giving him any more recognition of any kind.
The important part of this post is to remember the victims who lost their lives to a senseless and tragic act of cowardice.
